Electrochemical Milling Using a Parallel Mechanism for High-speed Translation of Tool Electrodes

Electrochemical milling using a delta-type parallel mechanism is proposed to achieve high-speed translation of the tool electrode, which known improve surface finish. Experimental results machining groove show that roughness decreases with increasing speed electrode. Moreover, it found electrode effective at preventing electrical discharge damage both and workpiece. Large areas can be machined high speeds improved finish, profile accurately matches desired profile. The experimental indicate there an optimum pick feed ensures better flatness
